These three pieces form one total creation. I was inspired by watching my grandson play in his new sandbox. Each piece in the trilogy, however, represents three phases of our lives...when we meet God the Father; when we meet God the Son, Jesus Christ; and when we meet God the Holy Spirit. Each phase brings with it a new understanding that our knowledge of Him is limited, like one grain of sand compared to all the grains of sand on all the shores of the ocean.
